During summer through to spring Archontophoenix cunninghamiana blooms fragrant mauve flowers, followed by bright red, fleshy fruits. Archontophoenix cunninghamiana can be used as a feature tree, or mass planted along streets. This palm is also ideal for those wanting to add a tropical addition to their everyday garden. Plant Archontophoenix cunninghamiana in a warm area with exposure to full sun and well draining soils. Water Archontophoenix alexandrae well until established. If using this palm indoors, ensure that the area is well lit. This palm does require more watering in comparison to other varieties.
